Astra tops Indonesia Best Managed Companies poll

Indonesian car assembler is again voted top company, and also wins Best Corporate Governance category.

IndonesiaÆs top conglomerate and Jardine Matheson subsidiary Astra International has emerged as the clear choice as best Indonesian company. The firm built on its 2005 showing, with investors and analysts voting Astra the countryÆs best managed company, best corporate governance and best CFO for recent arrival Simon Mawson. Indosat and Telkom Indonesia also repeated their 2005 wins, taking home awards for best investor relations and best commitment to strong dividend payments respectively. The tables below display the winners, and the number of votes.
