Mongolia borrowers return to global bond markets

Bogd Bank has increased its debut international notes to $100m, while the Development Bank of Mongolia has expanded its new bond to $750m, highlighting growing offshore investor interest in the frontier market’s financial institutions.

Bogd Bank has returned to the international debt market around six weeks after its debut, raising an additional $25 million through a tap of its senior notes due June 2029 and increasing the aggregate principal amount outstanding to $100 million.
