Equity research build continues at ING Barings

ING Barings has announced the hire of three key figures aimed at strengthening its research capability in Taiwan. Chris Hsieh, 31, and Jessica Change, 30, join to cover the semi-conductor sector - both from Nomura Securities. Chris spent fours years as a senior analyst with Nomura and was previously with Capital Securities. Prior to Nomura, Jessica worked for Citibank in Taipei for four years. Covering downstream technology stocks, Nicolas Teo, 32, joins from Grand Cathay Securities Corporation. Commenting on these new appointments Eugene Marais, head of equity markets for Asia said: "Coverage of the tech sector is of critical importance to ING Barings in Asia - we are pleased to have attracted strong candidates to fill theses key positions in Taipei."
