A total of 18 Asian issuers raised $1.6 billion from the equity capital markets this week, with year-to-date issuance standing at $71.4 billion down 5% year-on-year.
The top three standings in the league table remain unchanged with Goldman Sachs sitting in first place on $5.7 billion, followed by UBS and Deutsche Bank.
A $499 million IPO for Tongkun Group was the largest issue of the week, led by Guosen Securities. The deal pushed Guosen Securities to seventh place, up from ninth last week. Phoenix New Media also raised a $140 million IPO via bookrunner Deutsche Bank, Macquarie Group and Morgan Stanley.
