As investors look beyond financial returns, senior leaders from Temasek, District Capital, UBS and the Center for Impact Investing and Practices, recently shared their views in Singapore at the Tideline Compass Series Panel.
Investors from Asia and Europe were on the oversubscribed deal, which was managed by Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Deutsche Bank, NAB, UBS and Westpac. Proceeds will be used for projects such as hydrogen hubs.
Claims would be based on a breach of international investment agreements, and launched on behalf of Credit Suisse’s AT1 investors from jurisdictions including Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore and the UAE.
UBS and Macquarie’s Australasia-based teams advised the aged care firm on use of proceeds for its recent equity raise, new capital structure and related disclosure considerations.
The deal exposes the risks associated with the high yield securities and is likely to make bank borrowing through bonds more expensive in the short term.
