Pandit joins Deutsche ECM

German bank re-builds Asian ECM team with new MD.

Deutsche Bank has brought in Ashok Pandit to the Hong Kong offices in the newly created role of managing director of equity capital markets ECM in Asia. Effective immediately, Pandit will take on responsibility for origination and execution of equity and equity-linked transactions around the region.

He crosses to Deutsche from ABN AMRO Rothschild's ECM business where he held the title of managing director and head of South Asia. Prior to his 1998 arrival at ABN, Pandit spent two years at ANZ Grindlays, India, where in the project finance group he advised domestic and cross-border transactions.
