Macquarie Asset Management sells Indian toll road firm for $1.7bn

Safeway Concessions has been sold to VINCI Highways, a subsidiary of VINCI.

Macquarie Asset Management (MAM), on behalf of the Macquarie Asia Infrastructure Fund 2 (MAIF), has sold its interest in Safeway Concessions (Safeway) to VINCI Highways, a subsidiary of French construction giant VINCI, at an enterprise value of INR150 billion ($1.7 billion).
