Central Asia's Bakai Bank secures Hong Kong licence

The Kyrgyz lender is set to launch a bank branch targeting trade and capital flows between Central Asia and Apac.

Bakai Bank, the fourth-largest bank in the Kyrgyz Republic, has received regulatory approval to set-up a Hong Kong bank branch. When launched, it will become the first Central Asian bank to secure a presence in the city.
