Diana Ng has been appointed by Nomura as its regional head of sales and strategic development in its Asia equity division. Effective immediately, she makes the move to the Hong Kong-based role from UBS and will report to Tomoyuki Teraguchi, Nomura's head of equities in Asia.
Ng's new post requires her to take on responsibility for leading the growth of its equity sales franchise in Asia, with a primary focus including the management of regional strategic accounts and strengthening its account management platform. The role also gives Ng responsibility for leading the Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan and China sales teams.
