HSBC's Luanne Lim named Hang Seng Bank's next CEO; Maggie Ng to add HSBC Hong Kong CEO role

In October, Lim, HSBC's HK CEO will replace Hang Seng's Diana Cesar, who is returning to HSBC; Ng, HSBC HK's head of wealth and personal banking, is set to replace Lim as HK CEO, in addition to her other roles.

Luanne Lim, executive director and chief executive officer of HSBC Hong Kong, has been appointed as executive director and chief executive of Hang Seng Bank from October 2025, subject to regulatory approval.
