Paul Mottram has been appointed chief executive officer and will be responsible for the strategic development and day-to-day company operations. He will also oversee new developments, including conferences, evens and content material, while ensuring the company meets its performance objectives.
Mottram will work closely with Gorilla's operations director, Daphne Li, and business director, Trevor Richter.
Prior to joining Gorilla, Mottram spent nine years in marketing and sales positions with Global Sources.
The other key appointment is that of Lise Buyer who has been appointed as a non-executive director of Gorilla, while remaining a partner with Technology Partners, a California-based venture capital company.
Her responsibilities at Gorilla include expanding the company's industry network and providing important consultation on the Internet and IT markets from the US perspective.
Previously, Buyer was director of Internet/new media research at Credit Suisse First Boston in New York.
