Brookfield Asset Management snaps up Alba Renewables in SEA renewable energy push

It is the Canadian giant's first renewables investments in the Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand, and follows a recent JV in Malaysia.

Canada’s Brookfield Asset Management has acquired Alba Renewables, a clean energy developer with a 1.8GW wind, solar and battery storage portfolio predominantly in the Philippines and Thailand, for an undisclosed sum.
