Franklin Templeton sees Indian AUM soar

India's largest private sector equity fund manager continues to witness strong inflows despite fears of a market correction.
On February 7 Franklin Templeton Investments India announced that equity assets under management AUM at its 26 funds crossed the Rs10,000 crore mark for the first time. CIO Sukumar Rajah remains confident about future growth commenting that, ôAs risk perceptions change further, equity allocations amongst Indian investors are likely to grow in the future.ö

Franklin Templeton is the biggest private sector fund manager of equity assets in India. Here Rajah discusses the outlook for IndiaÆs equity markets, which broke all records this week, with the Sensex briefly passing the 10,000 mark.
