Deutsche dials in Chakravorty

German bank creates a new role for a head of telecoms investment banking.

Deutsche Bank has announced the appointment of Ananda Andy Chakravorty as director and head of telecoms, global banking, Asia ex Japan. The newly created role will be based out of Hong Kong, with Chakravorty reporting to Peter Tsao, managing director, head of technology, media telecoms TMT in global banking Asia ex Japan.

The new position allows Chakravorty to assume responsibility for the origination and execution of capital market and MA transactions for telecom companies in the region.
