The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka is expected to return to the international bond markets after Easter in what is shaping up to be a busy year for the sovereign. 

Its first deal will be of benchmark size and as such will provide a key test of global investor appetite for emerging market debt amid sharper increases in US rates. But it is unlikely to be the country’s last foray into the market...
