GIC's Tan highlights increased global risks

Economic, political, and market risks will be higher in the coming decade than in the 20 years before the recent crisis, says Tony Tan, deputy chairman of Government Investment Corporation GIC, Singapore's biggest sovereign wealth fund. As a result, he feels SWFs have an important role to play as suppliers of capital and expertise, something that has also beenĀ noted by others.
