UBS has named Michel Lee and Stuart Mackay as co-heads of equity capital market solutions in Asia.
The two roles are new and demonstrate the importance of the equity derivatives and Southeast Asia components of UBS's business in Asia, according to a memo seen by FinanceAsia.
Lee is currently the head of strategic equity solutions (SESG) and derivatives distribution across the Asia Pacific region.
The SESG business provides bespoke equity financing and stake management solutions to corporate, institutional, sovereign and private clients.
Lee will remain on the global equity derivatives management committee.
Mackay was made head of UBS's equity capital markets business for Southeast Asia in 2011, having previously been head of equity syndicate for Asia.
