Treasury appointments, September 14

A roundup of the latest CFO and treasurer moves from around the region.

Asciano: The Australia-based ports and rail assets management company will appoint Angus McKay chief financial officer as soon as he completes his contractual obligations at Foster’s Group where is he currently CFO. He will replace Peter McGregor who resigned as CFO of Asciano at the end of April this year. In his new role, McKay will be responsible for delivering Asciano’s strategic objectives and driving growth.

Asian Micro Holdings: Ng Chee Wee was appointed group financial controller of the Singapore-based natural gas-related products and services provider on September 3. He will assume the responsibilities of Wong Wing Hei, the company’s accountant, and the temporary replacement of former financial controller Han Yee Yan who resigned last month.

C&G Environmental Protection Holdings: The Singapore-based raw textile materials manufacturer and distributor announced the appointment of Tam Sau Fung as financial controller on September 9. She joins C&G from another Singapore-listed company where she was also a financial controller. Tam holds a bachelors degree in accounting from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Dynamic Colours: Wong Chee Meng and Seow Yong Teng resigned as group CFO and finance head, respectively, of the Singapore-based compounded resins and polyethylene packaging materials manufacturer. The company has decided to merge both roles into one and is looking for a replacement. Woon Seak Chin, group management accountant, will assume all duties in the interim.

Lotus Pharmaceuticals: The China-based pharmaceutical products developer and manufacturer appointed Jeff Hon CFO on September 9. He reports to chief executive Liu Zhongyi and is responsible for overseeing the finance, investments and internal investor relations of the company. Hon holds a bachelors degree in electronic engineering from the City University of Hong Kong, a masters degree in corporate finance from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a masters degree in professional accounting from Southern Cross University of Australia.
