Treasury appointments, November 16

A round-up of the latest CFO and treasurer moves from around the region.

Biosensors International Group: Kevin Sayer will resign as chief financial officer of the Singapore-based medical technology licensing company on November 30. He is based in the US and the company is in the process of closing its US operations. Chief operating officer Jack Wang will assume Sayer’s duties after the resignation.

C&G Environmental Protection Holdings: The Singapore-based raw textile materials manufacturer and distributor announced the resignation of CFO and company secretary Hui Hung Kwan on November 8. Financial controller Tam Sau Fung who was appointed at the end of August will assume his responsibilities.

Hunan Nonferrous Metals Corporation: Guo Wenzhong was appointed financial controller of the Hong Kong-based integrated producer of nonferrous metals on November 10. He replaced Chen Zhixin who resigned from the position on the same day. Guo holds a bachelor degree in law from the Hunan Administration Institute and is also a graduate from the Zhejiang Zhijin Economic Professional School.

Sin Heng Heavy Machinery: The Singapore-based heavy lifting services provider appointed Goh Chin Wah CFO on November 11. He replaced Andrew William Khine who resigned as group financial controller on the same day. Goh has more than 14 years experience in finance and accounting and was most recently group financial controller at King Plastic.

Top Global: Robin Cheng Jiet Ng was appointed CFO of the Singapore-based construction company on November 8. He replaced Joseph Nin Choon Wang who resigned on the same day. Ng holds a bachelor degree in accountancy from Nanyang Technological University and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore and a chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Transcu Group: The Singapore-based life science company appointed Andrew William Khine group financial controller on November 15. He will assume the duties of Jenaline Low who was appointed acting CFO at the end of October. Khine joined Transcu Group from Sin Heng Heavy Machinery where he was also group financial controller.
