Treasury appointments, July 27

A roundup of the latest CFO and treasurer moves from around the region.

Bio-Treat Technology: The Singapore-based waste treatment biotechnology developer appointed Stanley Yeung chief financial officer on July 26. Yeung has more than 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, most recently as a consultant director at Finance-Elite Consultancy (China). He holds a bachelor of commerce and a bachelor of law from the University of Melbourne and is a Chartered Accountant of Australia.

Cambridge Industrial Trust: The Singapore-based industrial real estate investment trust (Reit) appointed David Mason CFO on July 20. He replaced Jason Michael Kennedy, the former head of finance, who resigned on the same day. Mason has more than 10 years' experience in the Reit sector in Singapore and Australia. He holds a bachelors degree in accounting and finance from Birmingham University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Embry Holdings: The Hong Kong-based ladies clothing manufacturer appointed Katie Kam Lai Fung CFO on July 20. She has been at the company for more than three years as an internal audit director. Fung holds a masters degree from the City University of Hong Kong. In addition she is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Federal International (2000): Angela Ai Ping Lim was appointed group CFO of the Singapore-based company on July 20. She replaced Chng Geok who was previously elected as interim CFO. Lim has more than 20 years' experience in senior financial management roles, most recently as finance director at BDP Global Logistics where she was also divisional CFO of BDP Project Logistics. In addition she is a certified public accountant registered with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.

Greentown China Holdings: Simon Ching Fung was appointed CFO and company secretary of the Hong Kong-based property development company on July 20. He replaced Cheng Pik Yuk who resigned from both positions on the same day. Fung joined Greentown China Holdings from Baoye Group where he was also CFO. He holds a bachelors degree in accounting from the Queensland University of Technology and is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Paxys: Paulino Servado Jr was appointed CFO of the Philippines-based business process outsourcing company on July 19. He joined Paxys from the Ramcar Group where he was also CFO. Servado is a certified public accountant and a member of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines.

Total Access Communication: The Thailand-based wireless communications services provider, also known as Dtac, will appoint Vanna Pornsinsiriruk CFO on August 1. She will replace Terje Borge who will join DiGi as CFO in Malaysia. Pornsinsiriruk holds a bachelors and masters degree in accounting from Chulalongkorn University and Thammasat University respectively.
