Treasury appointments, July 26

A roundup of the latest CFO and treasurer moves from around the region.

China Bio-Med Regeneration Technology: Chan Suk Yee resigned as the qualified accountant and company secretary of the China-based tissue engineering company on July 22. Lam Yuen Ling assumed Chan’s role as company secretary on the same day. The company has not found a replacement for her role as a qualified accountant.

China Boon Holdings: The China-based consumer electronic appliances, scrap metal and leather trader, formerly known as Vision Tech International Holdings, announced the resignation of Yau Wing Yiu as financial controller and company secretary on July 22. Executive director, Law Fei Shing, assumed Yau’s role as company secretary.

China Healthcare: Lim Goon Lwee was appointed chief financial officer of the Singapore-listed medical centre and nursing home operator on July 19. She joined the company from GTG Strategic and Management Services where she was manager for two years.

First Data Corporation: The electronic commerce and payment processing company appointed Marc Mathenz senior vice-president and head of Asia-Pacific on July 21. He was previously Asia-Pacific CFO for First Data. Mathenz is based in Singapore in his new role and reports to John Elkins, president of First Data.

Heng Xin China Holdings: Tao Chi Keung was appointed CFO of the Hong Kong-listed television wireless and circuit equipment company on July 19. He replaced Wu Fred Fong who resigned on the same day but will continue to act as a consultant for the company. Tao holds a bachelor degree in business administration and is a member of both the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
