Nomura appoints Sisterson to head Asian equity finance

Nine-year Credit Suisse veteran joins Nomura.
Nomura has hired John Sisterson from Credit Suisse to head its Asian equity finance desk. Sisterson will be based in Hong Kong, reporting to Tomoyuki Teraguchi, head of the Asia equity division, and to Jonathan Cossey, head of equity finance and synthetic prime brokerage at Nomura in London.

He will be responsible for the Asian business of NomuraÆs equity finance team, which operates through regional lending desks in London, New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong. He replaces Lisa Dao.

Sisterson was previously a director at Credit Suisse, where he ran the equity finance desk for nine years. Before that he worked in equity finance at Morgan Stanley in London and Hong Kong.
