New US securities partner for Allen & Overy

Allen & Overy has appointed David Johnson as partner in its international capital markets practice based in Hong Kong.

Johnson, who is a US securities lawyer, will work with partners Peter Curley in Hong Kong and Ken Aboud in Singapore, and with other members of the US team of AO.

Johnson has extensive experience in a wide range of international financial and corporate transactions,  recently focusing on representing issuers and underwriters in Asia in US SEC-registered and unregistered debt and equity financings. He also has a background  in tender and exchange offers, acquisitions, privatizations and corporate re-organizations.
