Bankers were busy during the end of December putting together mergers and acquisitions that are likely to set the tone for 2012 there are deals to be made, particularly if it helps solidify industry position.
“There was a significant number of high-quality MA transactions announced in mid-to-late December 2011 so this augurs well for 2012. I remain bullish for the coming year,” said Colin Banfield, head of MA for Asia-Pacific at Citi.
