Lehman commits to Taiwan tech team

Abraham Leu, Naiwan Kerr and Alex Mou to bolster domestic technology coverage.

Lehman Brothers will bolster its Taiwan research capabilities by bringing in three new analysts to the technology research team.

Effective immediately, Abraham Leu will relocate to Lehman as the investment bank's new head of Taiwan technology research. Upon joining the firm, Leu will report directly to Alan Hellawell, associate director of Asia equity research.

He departs CSFB where he was a director and focused on the domestic tech sector. His CV also includes a stint at HSBC in Taipei, where he also focused on the technology industry.

Joining Leu in Lehman's Taiwan office will be Naiwen Kerr. He makes tracks from Morgan Stanley to join the tech research team as an analyst looking at the display and DRAM (dynamic random access memory) sectors. From the Taipei operations of Morgan Stanley, Kerr also covered DRAM/IDM (integrated device manufacturer) and downstream technology firms.

Alex Mou will also move to the domestic tech team as an analyst covering the Greater China communications equipment and components industry. In taking the newly created role, Mou will internally transfer from Lehman's telecom research team. To the new position, he brings over a decade of technology related experience garnered in Greater China and the Silicon Valley.

Both Kerr and Mou will report to Abraham Leu.
