In its third announcement this week on hiring or relocating people to Asia, Citi said yesterday that Jim Perry will be joining its technology, media and telecommunications TMT global banking team as a managing director. He will have coverage responsibility for large-cap technology and clean technology companies in Asia-Pacific and will be based in Hong Kong.
Earlier this month, we reported that Citi had promoted Rahul Shukla to head of corporate banking in India. Nikhil Eapen, who had worked with him, took on Shukla's previous role as Asia-Pacific head of TMT within the global banking division. Perry will now join that same team to build out the bench. He'll report to Eapen.
