IIX adds $60mn issuance to its Women’s Livelihood Bond series

The seventh issuance, listed on SGX, aims to continue leveraging blended finance to develop gender-lens investments across Asia; a second tranche in the pipeline could make it the largest in the WLB series.

Singapore-based Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) closed a $60 million Women’s Livelihood Bond (WLB) issuance at the end of July. The notes consist of a $52.8 million four-year, 5.88% senior bond, as well as $7.2 million of subordinated debt, a de-risking facility.
