Baillie Gifford sets-up fully native tokenised bond fund in Hong Kong

The asset manager's blockchain-native bond fund marks another milestone in Hong Kong's push to build regulated tokenised capital markets.

Baillie Gifford has introduced the Baillie Gifford Enhanced Yield Fund (BAGEY), marking the firm's first publicly available, natively tokenised investment fund for professional investors in Hong Kong. The fund is structured as a UK-regulated Open-Ended Investment Company (OEIC) and is explicitly authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
