Wilkins will be based in Hong Kong and will report directly to Jean-Luc Parer and Olivier Khayat, the global heads of the capital raising and financing division. Wilkins succeeds Jackson Cheung, who has moved to Beijing following his appointment as SociTtT GTnTrale group country head for China.
The capital-raising and financing business was started in 2006 and is an issuer-focused division. It offers product expertise across equity and debt products including structured finance (export, infrastructure and asset-based, natural resources, and real estate finance) and hedging (interest rate and foreign exchange derivatives). It also covers capital market activities, both equity and debt and including acquisition, leverage and non-investment grade finance.
