Asia posts record M&A volumes in second half of 2012

Despite fewer deals, the value of Asia (ex-Japan) M&A set a new half-year benchmark from July to December.

A total of $234 billion of MA was announced during the last six months of 2012, setting a half-year record for deal volume in the region, according to Dealogic.
