Vietnam-based manufacturer, marketer and distributor of cane sugar Bien Hoa Sugar promoted Cong Minh Vo to chief accountant, replacing Hoang Tuan Nguyen, on March 15. He was previously deputy manager of finance and accounting. Nguyen continues working as deputy chief executive of the company.
The Export-Import Bank of Thailand (Exim Thailand) appointed Mongkolsri Wantana executive vice-president overseeing small and medium-size enterprise (SME) marketing functions on March 16. In the position she covers marketing, advisory services and financial facilities promotion, particularly with regard to SME clients as well as supervises the bank's branch administration department in charge of 16 branches and sub-branches.
Wantana joined Exim Thailand from Bangkok Commercial Asset Management where she worked as vice-president of loan restructuring. She holds a bachelors degree and masters from Thammasat University.
China undergarment manufacturer Great Group will appoint Choon Nie Voon group Singapore-based finance manager on March 31. She will be responsible for the group's financial reporting and takes over the duties of Choong Wai Liang who steps down as group financial controller on the same date.
Kai Fung Cheung was appointed chief financial officer (CFO) of Hong Kong-based Kiu Hung Energy on March 15. He also took over company secretary duties from Kit Sun Lam for Kiu Hung Energy's coal energy and gifts and toys subsidiaries. Lam joined the company from China Sunshine Paper where he was group financial controller and joint company secretary. He is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelors degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Kyung Hwan Yeo was appointed director and CFO of Schramm Holdings, a global manufacturer and supplier of a range of technical coatings solutions, on March 17. He replaced Sung Yoon Kim who was released from the two positions on the same day. Yeo has more than 10 years of financial experience, most recently as general manager of Seoul Media Group, a media company engaged in internet, mobile and publication businesses since 2005. He holds a bachelors degree from the University of Korea.
