China Medicine Corporation: The leading mainland Chinese manufacturer, developer and distributor of Western pharmaceuticals, traditional Chinese medicines and other health products, today announced that it appointed Henry Chi Fung Ho as its chief financial officer, effective November 16. The former CFO, Fred Cheung, resigned on the same day to pursue other opportunities.
Ho has served as the company's vice-president of finance and accounting since October 1, 2010. Prior to joining the company, he worked at Ernst & Young China (Hong Kong office) from September 2005 to September 2010, Ernst & Young's Chicago office from June 2002 to August 2005, and Arthur Andersen LLP from July 1998 to May 2002. Ho received his MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the Loyola University of Chicago and his bachelor degree in public accounting and finance from the same university in 1998. Ho is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and he is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois.
Freight Links Express Holdings: The Singapore-based logistics services provider has announced the appointment of Simon Sim Geok Beng as CFO effective December 1. Sim joined the company as vice-president (finance) in June 2000 and was promoted to senior vice-president (finance) in July 2005. He was previously finance, administrative and logistics control manager with Shiseido Singapore between June 1998 and May 2000.
