Treasury appointments, July 20

A roundup of the latest CFO and treasurer moves from around the region.

China International Holdings: Han Yange was appointed chief financial officer and joint company secretary of the Singapore-listed and China-based bridge and land property development company on July 16. Her executive responsibilities include overseeing the accounting and corporate secretarial functions of the company and its subsidiaries. Han was previously an executive director at the Beijing office of the New York stock exchange.

China Kangda Food Company: The Hong Kong-based processed food producer appointed William Fong CFO on July 13. He replaced former CFO and company secretary Charles Chi Fai Li who resigned on the same day. Fong has more than seven years of experience in financial auditing. He holds a bachelors degree in accountancy from the City University of Hong Kong and is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Global Sources: Connie Lai was promoted to CFO of the Hong Kong-based media services provider on July 15. She will formerly assume the position on August 1 and report to chairman and chief executive Merle A Hinrichs. Lai joined Global Sources in 2007 as financial controller from her previous position as CFO and executive director at HC International. She holds a bachelors degree in accountancy from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom.

Integrated Micro-Electronics: The Philippines-based electronics manufacturing services provider made several senior management changes on July 9. Jaime G Sanchez will be appointed acting CFO on August 1, replacing Sherisa P Nuesa. He is currently deputy CFO and group financial controller. Cesar V Purisima resigned as secretary of finance and Delfin C Gonzalez was appointed chairman of the finance committee.

M Dream Inworld: Ng Kay Kwok resigned as CFO of the Hong Kong-based software, hardware and system solutions services provider on July 9. He was appointed as an executive director on the same day. Ng will continue to act as company secretary for the company and its subsidiaries. The company is in search for a suitable replacement.
