FinanceAsia's head of subscriptions, Naveet Singh, is hoping to climb South East Asia's highest mountain later this month to raise money for the Hong Kong Cancer Fund. As part of the Summit of Hope event, Naveet will attempt to scale the 4,095 metre summit of Mount Kota Kinabalu in Borneo over a two day trek.
If you would like to support her in this worthy cause, FinanceAsia will be collecting cheques on Naveet's behalf. Cheques should be made payable to the Hong Kong Cancer Fund and mailed to our office: 10 Fl Universal Trade Centre, 3 Arbuthnot Road, Central, Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong Cancer Fund is an umbrella organization, established in 1987 to provide support and information to people living with cancer. It tries to ensure that no-one has to face the disease alone and aims to increase awareness of a disease, which creates 10 million new cases a year.
All money raised from the event will go directly to cancer care services in Hong Kong.
