Gillot will begin his office on 20 June 2001, reporting to Roy Lambden, head of trading and sales of global markets. He will also be working closely with other heads of global markets, heads of global products, and Hong Kong business units.
Bringing more than 17 years of experience in money markets, foreign exchange, derivatives, and currency options to his new position in Standard Chartered, Gillot comes from a strong academic background.
