Morgan Stanley to acquire Australia’s Epic Energy; Aberdeen and ACCIONA close NZ transport PPP

The US banking giant’s infrastructure arm has agreed to acquire the Australian gas pipeline operator. In another deal, Aberdeen Investments and ACCIONA have set-up a SPV for a New Zealand motorway project.

Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (MSIP) has agreed to acquire 100% of Australian gas pipeline operator Epic Energy, expanding its exposure to essential energy infrastructure in Australia, according to a July 27 announcement.
