JPMorgan has announced a reshuffling in its Japan real estate research team. Hirokazu Nihei joins the team in Tokyo, while Douglas Sung expands his role in the department.
Nihei brings over 16 years of real estate coverage to JPMorgan Tokyo. The move is described by the bank as a reaction to increasing investor interest in the Japanese property sector. Over time, JPMorgan plans to augment Nihei's analyst role to include the transportation sector, which he has previously experienced as a sell and buy side analyst.
