e2-Capital adds two more to tech banking team

e2-Capital, a year-old technology-focused investment banking consultancy, has added two more executives to its investment banking team, bringing the number of investment advisors in the unit to 17, up from just two a year ago.

The Hong Kong-based company recently hired Hideaki Shimane, a former manager of corporate strategy at Japanese investment company Softbank, and Susan Sun, former director of corporate finance at ABN Amro Asia.

Shimane, who before joining Softbank spent time as chief investment officer at Meridien Asset Management and as mergers and acquisitions specialist at Nomura Wasserstein Perella, was named senior vice president and head of mergers and acquisitions at e2-Capital.
