Credit Suisse builds investment banking team

The firm adds two senior investment bankers to its Greater China business.
Credit Suisse has announced that David Cheng has joined the bank as managing director and head of corporate finance, Greater China. In addition, Quincy Hui joined as managing director for Hong Kong coverage. Both new hires are based in Hong Kong for the investment banking department.

Cheng will oversee the corporate finance team for Credit Suisse's Greater China business. He will report to Paul Raphael, head of investment banking for Asia-Pacific ex-Japan.

Hui will play a key role in developing relationships and originating and executing transactions for the bank's Hong Kong based clients. Hui will report to Chester Kwok, head of Hong Kong coverage and co-head of real estate investment banking.
