Asian investors gear up for US’s T+1 move

The SEC will require all US securities transactions to be settled no later than a day after trading from May 28, in a significant move to the T+1 settlement cycle in the world’s largest market.

Starting from May 28, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will require most broker-dealer transactions to be settled within one business day after the trade date, also known as the T+1 arrangement.
