- Kotohaco Inc. has developed a technology that helps users find the latest information on the internet. Utilizing the new technology, the Ibaraki Prefecture-based start-up firm, which originated at University of Tsukuba, has set up a search site dubbed KEITAI-KOKUBAN, which can be accessed by cellular phone subscribers. The company projects the site will attract 1 million users a year. The web site searches internet diaries known as blogs, which often provide personal impressions of stores and information on fashion.
