ABN AMRO today announced the appointment of Han Joon Kim as head of global markets in Korea to support its increasing activities in the country. Kim will be responsible for driving the bankÆs sales, trading and debt capital raising.

ABN AMROÆs global markets business includes risk solutions and capital-raising products across credit, rates, foreign exchange, alternatives and equities. Says Kyung Hee Yoon, country executive of Korea: ôKim has a very strong track record of product experience and client relationships, and we are very pleased to have him as part of the team.ö

Bringing 14 years of banking and financial industry experience to the position, Kim most recently held the position of head of credit and rates and debt capital markets for JPMorgan in Korea. He also evolved in foreign exchange and rates derivatives at Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and Korea First Bank.
