MBK Partners promotes Bryan Min to partner

North Asia private equity firm MBK Partners said on Tuesday it had promoted Bryan Byungsuk Min to a partner at the firm, effective from January 1.

North Asia private equity firm MBK Partners said on Tuesday it had promoted Bryan Byungsuk Min to a partner at the firm, effective from January 1.

Min was a managing director in the Seoul office from 2013 to 2016, and he became chief operating officer of MBK Partners, based in Hong Kong, in October 2016.

Min has served on the boards of directors of Techpack Solutions, D’Live and D’Live Gangnam, AXN Korea, NEPA and Homeplus.

Prior to joining MBK Partners in July 2005, he worked at Olympus Capital Holdings Asia and UBS Capital Asia Pacific in Seoul.

Min received a BS from Yale University and an MA in international studies from Yonsei University Graduate School of International Studies. 

Established in 2005, MBK Partners managed over $15 billion in capital, with 31 investee companies in its portfolio.
