New Asia broking head for CLSA

Edwin Lucas moves from Seoul to HK to take new position.

CLSA has announced that Edwin Lucas hs been appointed as the new head of broking for Asia, while David Cotterchio will take Lucas' old role as country head of CLSA in Korea.

Lucas started his career with CLSA in Hong Kong in 1989, and later moved to Jakarta. He has also led CLSA's operation in South Africa.

While Lucas will start his job on 1st September and will be based in Hong Kong, Cotterchio's appointment will be effective on 15th September.

Cotterchio has spent the last four years in Korea working his way from sales trading to head of Korean sales. "Both Edwin and David are integral players in steering the growth of CLSA - particularly with our recent expansions in adding Japan and Australia to our breadth of coverage on Asian markets," said Gary Coull, CLSA executive chairman speaking about the new appointments.
