Treasury appointments, September 20

A roundup of the latest CFO and treasurer moves from around the region.

China Taisan Technology Group: Liu Yi was appointed senior finance manager of the China-based knitted performance fabrics producer on September 15. He will assume the responsibilities of Kan Wei Shiu who will resign as chief financial officer at the end of the month. Liu joined the company from Mazars LLP where he was an audit supervisor.

Global Palm Resources: The Indonesia-based palm oil producer announced the resignation of financial controller Zhang Xiaoyu on September 16. He joined the company at the beginning of July this year to replace Chua Cheng Hian. The company has not yet announced a replacement for Zhang.

Magnus Energy Group: Ho Khee Yong will resign as CFO of the Singapore-based oil, gas and coal producer on September 30. Chief operating officer and executive director, Koh Teng Kiat, will assume Ho’s responsibilities in the interim.

Mapletree Industrial Trust: The Singapore-based real estate investment trust announced that Loke Huey Teng will resign as CFO on November 1. Ler Lily will be appointed as Loke’s replacement on the same day. She holds a bachelor degree in accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University and is a non-practicing member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Singapore.

Pteris Global: Alex Chong resigned as CFO of the Singapore-based airport logistics system solutions provider on September 12, after joining less than one month ago. The company has not announced his replacement and financial controller, Ang Wui Khoon, who joined the company at the end of March this year, assumed his responsibilities in the interim.
