Treasury appointments, June 14

A roundup of the latest CFO and treasurer moves from around the region.

China Auto Electronics Group: Jeffrey Kwan Yew Ting will resign as chief financial officer of the China-based automobile electrical and electronics distribution system manufacturer on July 16 this year. He has been at the company since the end of June last year and is responsible for reporting, accounts, financial investment reviews and taxation.

Nico Steel Holdings: The Singapore-based metal slitting services provider announced the resignation of Raymond Ngu as group finance manager on June 10. Wang Lu, the company’s chief accountant, assumed Ngu’s responsibilities in the interim until a replacement is found.

Union Steel Holdings: Tan Hon Yih resigned as group financial controller of the Singapore-based iron, steel and metal dealer on June 4 after joining just six months ago. The company’s newly-appointed CFO, Leung Kai Yin, assumed Tan’s responsibilities.

Z-Obee Holdings: The Hong Kong and Singapore-listed mobile handset distribution and marketing, solution, and assembly company appointed Siu Yun Tang CFO on June 8. He replaced Tong Chi Cheong who only joined the company in February this year. Tang has more than 14 years of experience in auditing, accounting and financial management and holds a master in business administration from Strathclyde University. In addition, he is an associate member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
