Treasury appointments, April 26

A roundup of the latest CFO and treasurer moves from around the region.

China Flexible Packaging Holdings: Chan Chun Kit will be appointed finance manager of the Singapore-listed film and synthetic packaging company on May 1. He will replace chief financial officer, Jackson Sze Wai Tso, who will resign on the same day. Chan will join the company from accounting firm BDO where he has worked for more than five years, most recently as a senior associate.

EMS Energy: The Singapore-based gas, marine and oil industry engineering solutions provider will appoint its financial controller, Susan Su, as acting CFO on May 1. She will replace James Ng who will leave the company on April 30 after only joining at the end of October last year. Su has more than 15 years of accounting experience and was most recently finance manager at The Straits Trading Company before joining EMS Energy as accounting manager in May 2010. She is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.

Multi-Chem: Lim San San resigned as financial controller of the Singapore-based printed circuit board manufacturing services provider on April 18. She has been at the company for more than 10 years, joining in October 2000 as an accountant. She is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.

Renewable Energy Asia: The Singapore-based investment holding company, which provides management services for subsidiaries engaged in fastener manufacturing and surface treatment, announced that Yap Koon Loong will resign as CFO on April 30. He joined the company at the beginning of June last year. Finance managers Joanne Song and Wong Chun Fye will assume Yap’s responsibilities until a replacement is found.

Sakae Holdings: Voon Sze Yin was appointed CFO of the Singapore-based restaurant operator, caterer and franchiser on April 18. She replaced Koh Siew Gie who resigned on the same day. Koh only joined the company as CFO at the beginning of January this year. Voon has more than 10 years of accounting experience and was most recently senior manager at Deloitte and Touche LLP of Singapore.

Straits Trading Company: The Singapore-based investment holding company engaged in tin mining and smelting as well as resource, hotel and property investment, appointed Eldon Wan deputy group financial officer on April 18. He joined the company from Tecity Group where he joined in 1998 as an accountant and was most recently group financial controller.
