China

GAC- Sofinco Automobile Finance has secured a Rmb2.2 billion three-year term loan through bookunners and mandated lead arrangers Credit Agricole, DBS and Standard Chartered.

Syndication saw Chang Hwa Commercial Bank, Fubon Bank, Hang Seng Bank, Hua Nan Commercial Bank, Taiwan Cooperative Bank and Wing Hang Bank join in as lead arrangers while Chong Hing Bank, Dah Sing Bank, East West Bank and Korea Exchange Bank came in as arrangers.

Proceeds are for working capital and general corporate purposes.

ICBC Financial Leasing has inked a $690 million three-year term loan through bookrunners and mandated lead arrangers CTBC Bank, Fubon Bank, OCBC Wing Hang Bank, Standard Chartered and Wing Lung Bank.

The debt package is split into a $520 million tranche and a $170 million portion. Margin is 252bp over Libor.

Syndication saw Bank Sinopac, Chang Hwa Commercial Bank, CIMB, Hua Nan Commercial Bank, Kasikornbank, Korea Development Bank, Korea Exchange Bank, Land Bank of Taiwan and Mega International Commercial Bank join in as mandated lead arrangers while Bank of Taiwan, Hana Bank and Taiwan Cooperative Bank came in as lead arrangers. Chong Hing Bank, Dah Sing Bank, E.Sun Commercial Bank, Public Bank, SPD Silicon Valley Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank concluded the syndicate as arrangers.

India

Jindal India Thermal Power has sealed a Rs8.1 billion facility on a club basis through mandated lead arrangers Allahabad Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Indian Bank, Punjab National Bank, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, State Bank of India, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Travancore and Vijaya Bank.

The facility is split into a Rs5.6 billion revolver and a Rs2.5 billion letter of credit.

Proceeds are to support the construction of a thermal power plant.

Power Finance Corp has inked a $250 million five-year term loan through bookrunners and mandated lead arrangers Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Mizuho and State Bank of India.

Syndication saw Aozora Bank, BNP Paribas, National Bank of Kuwait and SMBC join in as arrangers while Bank of Taiwan, Hua Nan Commercial Bank, Gunma Bank, Land Bank of Taiwan, Mega International Commercial Bank and Taiwan Business Bank came in as lead managers. Joyo Bank concluded the syndicate as manager.

Proceeds are for general corporate purposes.

Sispara Renewable Power has completed a Rs600 million 13-year and three-month term loan through sole bookrunner and mandated lead arranger State Bank of India.

Syndication saw PTC India Financial Services join in as participant.

Proceeds are to support the development of a wind power project.

Singapore

Singapore LNG Corp has secured a S$1.1 billion term loan on a club basis through mandated lead arrangers Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Citi, DBS, Mizuho and OCBC.

Proceeds are for general corporate purposes.

Taiwan

Sunpower Development & Construction has sealed a NT$2.4 billion term loan through sole bookrunner and mandated lead arranger Taiwan Cooperative Bank.

The transaction is divided into a NT$2 billion five-year portion and a NT$400 million three-year tranche.

Syndication saw Cathay Life Insurance and Taishin International Bank join in as mandated lead arrangers while Agricultural Bank of Taiwan, Bank of Taiwan, Chang Hwa Commercial Bank, First Commercial Bank, Hua Nan Commercial Bank and Taiwan Business Bank came in as participants.

Proceeds are for refinancing purposes.

YFY Packaging has signed a NT$3.1 billion five-year debt package through bookrunners and mandated lead arrangers Bank of China, Bank of Taiwan and First Commercial Bank.

The financing is split into a NT$2.9billion revolver and a NT$245million term loan.

Syndication saw Chang Hwa Commercial Bank, E. Sun Commercial Bank and Hua Nan Commercial Bank come in as lead managers while COTA Commercial Bank, Far Eastern International Bank, Industrial Bank of Taiwan and Yuanta Commercial Bank joined in as lenders.

Proceeds are for refinancing and working capital purposes.
