Linklaters adds three new Asian partners

Firm rolls out annual promotions in its Shanghai, Bangkok and Japan offices.
Linklaters has promoted 32 staff members to the partnership globally, of which three will be based in Asia. The law firm says these appointments are consistent with previous years, as well as reflecting increasing client demand.

At the international law firmÆs Shanghai office, Simon Poh will join the partnership after working in the finance and energy sectors with a primary focus on foreign investment and mergers and acquisition MA in China.

Poh has recently advised on the establishment of the first Sino-foreign securities joint venture the first Sino-foreign funds management joint venture with a 49% foreign shareholding and an agreement in respect of certified emission reduction credits in China pursuant to the Kyoto Protocol....
