JPM names Greater China investment banking heads

The New York bank has reassigned several senior banking roles across Asia, in line with its banking practice in other markets.

Rahul Badhwar will start as senior country officer in July in Mumbai.

Bhavin Shukla will become managing director, head of infrastructure investment banking, Japan Asia North and Australia & Asia South, at the US bank.

The US bank made a number of changes in senior investment banking roles across both product and coverage groups, taking a more integrated approach similar to its US headquarters.

Kulkarni is set to join Citi in December in Singapore to become co-head, Citi investment banking for Japan, Asia North, Australia, and Asia South, serving alongside Jan Metzger.

Citi Commercial Bank in India has appointed Kannan as head of digital, technology, communication, business & professional services and industrials; he will join in December and has worked at JP Morgan for over 15 years.
